It means the app's primary data store is a Google Sheet on the user's own Google Drive, not a vendor database. The user can open, edit, and share the sheet directly, and the app reflects those changes.
Most budgeting apps store data in a vendor cloud and offer Google Sheets only as a manual export. We do not include those here unless and until we can verify a deeper integration. Tiller and Aspire Budget are candidates we plan to add once their entries are sourced.
